One is amazed to walk past a local taxi rank, to see several drivers sitting in their cabs, who are not wearing protective face masks and/or having their taxi fitted with a suitable separation screen between them and their passengers.
One also observes passengers entering these taxis, without wearing a protective face mask, this is a threat to the driver and future passengers using that taxi after them!
Also, you get to see a particular taxi from this rank, taking a fare, which is quite obviously a local trip, as that same taxi is back on the rank within minutes ready to take another fare. Or are they really, what about sanitizing the taxi between fares?
