Not wishing to detract from the logical proposition for the introduction of the compulsory wearing of facemasks to reduce the spread of Covit19 through community spreading, but there is one small little problem for some individual citizens.
We are, of course referring those who have the need to wear prescription spectacles at all times. It seems all most impossible to wear both a facemask and a pair of glasses in combination at the same time, while actively moving around without the lenses seriously misting or fogging up!
Anyone out there got a solution to this serious problem?
Yep, rub a small amount of soap/ washing up liquid on the lens, with a dry cloth, and keep rubbing till it disappears no more misting. Works with bathroom mirrors too!!

Hi there “Someone. Thanks for that tip, appreciated. But a question for you. If the lens have a protective film, would not the washing up liquid destroy the protective film?

I’m afraid that’s not a question I know the answer too! Having looked into it a bit, all sites just say MAY damage the coating. As this is an unusual situation, you may consider it worth the risk. This solution lasts for weeks, so long as you don’t use any water in between times, so you won’t be doing it daily, and I find washing up liquid works best. Good luck.

Hi, there Beverley. First, may I say thank you for reading streetdogs.blog the word on the street, and for taking the time to comment, which as you know is a very important thing for blog writers. Will look further into your suggestion. This is as you say an unusual situation, which is going to exist for some time to come! You never know if we come up with a viable solution, we might market it as our intellectual property!

I thoroughly agree with you. Every time I wear a mask while driving I have to take it off as my prescription glasses steam up. They also steam up when I wear it outside in the air. You asked for solution ideas – I don’t have any – yet. Monica
