ARE NOT IRISH VOTERS, SHAREHOLDERS IN OUR OIREACHTAS? Notice the rights of shareholders under section 33 of the Companies Act, to block an exemption from an audit of the Company’s finances, by the company’s directors.

We are of course referring here to the recent decision of Oireachtas Authorities that lump sum payments, pensions, and termination pay, of TDs, etc. will be no longer published. Are we not all shareholders in this Irish State? A so-called, democracy and republic, with no Monarch and privileged aristocracy? And yet??
