As we watch the cruel and illegal war being conducted against the innocent people and the nation state of Ukraine, by Putin’s Russia and Belarus.
We see so many peoples and nations, showing, moving and heartening responses, in the form of donations and funds, as well as very personal involvement. Nations opening their doors to those escaping the onslaughts.
It’s so easy to lose sight of other aspects. No matter if Ukraine can reverse the invasion; The damage done to the society, it’s people. Its infrastructure and economy. Just to mention a few of them, is going to be as almost as dreadful.
On the other hand, a cynic might question what bountiful outcome has and will transpire for certain others, most especially President Joe Biden and United States of America.
Remember, Joe Biden speaking about the American economy, used the expression, “make America, America great again!” And also bought the domain name of “Keep America Great”
Now in a perverse manner, such is in the process, as of results of the war between Ukraine defending itself against Russia’s illegal invasion. Multiple European States rush to buy American Arms and seek the presence of American troops on their soil. While many others will consider doing, likewise, as they consider abandoning their traditional neutrality. As also those NATO partners, who Donald Trump said were not paying their fair share of the costs of the alliance, now increase their military budgets.
And now, private American companies will be selling Liquid Gas to Europe. And then of course there’s the opportunities awaiting in the rebuilding of Ukraine.
